Brick Locator

The Linthicum Veterans Memorial Board recently completed an extensive project to map all of the commemorative bricks. This will make it easier for guests of the memorial to locate the name of a friend or family member who served. Special thanks goes out to Rusty Bixler for developing and managing the database of bricks and the locator map. If you are looking for a specific brick, download the file below.  Each commemorative brick is listed in alphabetical order along with the Section, Row, and Brick Number.  Take this information with you to the memorial, where you'll find a map inside our display case.  Locate the desired section on the map.  Row numbers start from the bottom of each section.  Count up the number of rows and over (from left to right) for the specific brick location.

Flag Status

Maryland citizens like to know whenever the Governor has declared that flags—both U.S. and State, are to be flown at half-staff. The Linthicum Veterans Memorial proudly flies its flags following the official guidance provided by the Maryland Secretary of State flag alert system. For additional information on general flag protocol, Public Law 110-41, or to sign yourself up for flag status alerts, visit the Secretary of State website at http://sos.maryland.gov/Pages/Services/Flag-Status.aspx
